The Festival Committee invite any would-be stewards to volunteer to help on the day. We will be looking for people to guide traffic, liase with stallholders, pick up litter, steward the main marquee and help with crowd control, plus many other roles.
Many of the local restaurants and cafes offer sustenance to the stewards throughout the day in the form of cups of coffee/tea etc and bacon butties are provided for late breakfast.
Although it is a long day, our stewards are a hardy lot who love meeting people and helping to promote the welcome that Porthleven brings to the festival.
